Vornac was a powerful Upper-Level Demon. He was the second-in-command of the Brotherhood of the Thorn, being outranked only by Raynor, Belthazor's mentor. Vornac displayed the ability to shimmer and glamour, but presumably had a few more abilities as well. He appeared as a middle-aged businessman.

In the old days, Vornac believed Belthazor was too reckless. On at least one occasion, Belthazor's flippant attitude would have gotten him killed had Vornac not saved him.

Vornac was suspicious of Cole when he returned to the Brotherhood after killing the Triad since the Brotherhood were in the midst of its plan to take over Luxirom, a major ISP. He came close to having Cole killed on the spot several times, but Cole was able to stay one step ahead of him. As part of the Brotherhood's plan, Vornac was to pose as Luxirom's CEO, Frank Pirelli, who was reportedly getting cold feet about the merger.

Vornac suspected that Cole was the leak that enabled the Charmed Ones to hide the real Pirelli. To discover if Cole had truly returned to his evil ways, he decided to pose as Cole when he got word the Charmed Ones were coming after him. However, Phoebe smelled a rat, and mentioned that they'd agreed to hide Pirelli in the mausoleum--supposedly the safest place he knew. When Vornac confirmed this, Phoebe vanquished him with the potion they'd originally brewed up for Belthazor. His blood oath rendered him, along with the other members, vulnerable to this potion. Phoebe immediately knew this wasn't the real Cole, as he'd told her earlier in the day that the place he felt safest was with her.
