The Spirit Wolf is the brother of the Native American guardian spirit, Glooscap. The wolf is sentient and guards their tribal lands together with his brother. The wolf appeared in the book, Spirit of the Wolf.
History[]
When a formless demon Glooscap once banished possessed the CEO of Vista Recreation Incorporated and started his plans toward taking ownership of the Sinoyat tribal region, Glooscap and the wolf knew their powers would soon be rendered powerless against the invading demon. The wolf appeared to Maude Billie, an employee at the resort Sierra Sojourn, but things did not go as expected. The manager, Carlos Martinez, was intent on killing the wolf to protect the resort.
Phoebe Halliwell and Paige Matthews arrived around that time to promote the place for 415 Magazine, and the wolf appeared to Phoebe to get her attention. He sensed her power of premonition, and decided to give her a much-needed clue to find the Sinoyats' lost Wampum Belt, which would signify the Sinoyats' rightful ownership.
After learning as much as she could about Glooscap and the wolf, Phoebe realized what she needed do to and proceeded to find the wolf. He appeared in front of her, and when she touched him, the vision showed the belt and a cave behind a waterfall (the animal's perception of Vista headquarters).
They were able to figure it out, vanquish the demon, and find the belt.
