Molecular Inhibition (also called Ice Stasis), is the magical ability to crystallize an object or being, encapsulating them in ice. Ice Stasis literally means stopping motion with ice. Once, there was a Dark Priestess named Dantalian. She sent a Warlock after Prue Halliwell . Dantalian then married the two in a dark wedding, causing Prue and her sisters to turn into Warlocks. This power was one of many evil powers given to the dark power of three, while under the influence of evil.

- With this power Piper froze one of her wedding planners, who was shocked after Piper turned her assistant into a pig.
- Piper then froze Dantalian's hand and shattered it with a candle holder.
- Piper also froze Leo and Phoebe kicked him, which shattered him into a million pieces.
- Her final act with this power, was freezing the warlock Zile, who at the time, was disguised as Prue.
Strength and ControlEdit
Victims of this attack are brittle enough that they can be shattered with a hard blow, immediately killing them - unless they are already dead, like Leo. When the user freezes an entire body, the victim doesn't feel pain, however, when the user freezes a part of the body, such as an arm, it is very painful.
It's related to and is an extreme form of Molecular Immobilization, which looks like a form of Cryokinesis. This requires a gesture of the hand to freeze and undo the effects of this power and the victim will be left unaware.
It is unknown if a victim of Ice Stasis will stay frozen in ice or defrost/dissolve and return to a normal state. It is probable they could be thawed if healed by a Whitelighter.

- This power works by stopping the movement of molecules so that they lose energy, which causes them to be drawn close together resulting in crystalization.
- This can be thought of in relation to Molecular Acceleration and Molecular Combustion. Since speeding up molecules causes things to heat up or even explode, slowing them down causes things to cool down and even freeze.
TriviaEdit
- In Bride and Gloom, the "ice" is in fact transparent plastic foil. This is most noticeable when the male wedding planner, turned into a pig by Piper, goes near Marie and the plastic foil sways with the breeze.
