Mileager De Vermis was a wise and powerful witch born in the late 1400's. He was the older twin brother of Malvolio De Vermis. He was the creator of the De Vermis Mysteriis.

Mileager only appeared in Between Worlds.

History

Early Life

Though they were close, his brother had always resented him for being the older one and would one day inherit their father's fortune and land. Overtime that resentment turned to hate when Mileager developed an interest in magic and started collecting spells for healing and protection. While Mileager hoped that collecting spells and writing down his wisdom would somehow heal the bond with his brother, Malvolio was more interested in using his power for his own dark purposes. One day, the brothers fought. Malvolio gained the upper hand, but Mileager sealed him inside the De Vermis Mysteriis. He was then instantly transported to another realm where he had to wait for the day he will meet with his brother again.

Mileager was then transported to a secret safe haven created by the Elders for protection. He was to wait in the haven for the moment his brother would re-emerge so the final confrontation may take place. The haven was constructed so that anyone who entered would be trapped, and though he followed the changing times through surveillance, he was always alone.

Final Confrontation

Leo Wyatt and Cole Turner found Mileager on Halloween in 2001, when Malvolio used a grieving witch to destroy the Wards between the realms of the living and the dead. They kept watch over the Halliwells and everything that happened through Mileager's tapestries, and waited until the moment Malvolio emerged and the witch C.K. ceased being his conduit.

When the time was finally right, Mileager left his confinement to confront his brother, and they resolved their sibling rivalry with peace instead of death. Their joined energy healed the Ward and they moved on to the afterlife together.

  • Scrying: The ability to locate beings or objects with the use of a crystal and a map.
  • Mediumship: The ability to see and commune with spirits of the dead.

  • High Resistance: The ability to withstand magical and physical attacks. He was powerful enough to withstand his brother's attacks.
