Michael was the style editor at The Bay Mirror and had a crush on Phoebe Halliwell. He was one of the men Coop attempted to match her with.
History
After previous failed attempts at asking her out, Coop decided to help Michael out. Coop told him that he needed to "woo" Phoebe and told him to bring a dozen of long stemmed red roses.
While Phoebe was working on her column, she heard rocks been thrown at her window. When she looked outside, she found Michael standing on the road. He explained that he was wooing her and got a little help from Coop to find the right words. As he was coaching Michael, Coop began to realize that he was in love with Phoebe himself.
Although she was charmed by Michael's attempt, Phoebe was soon distracted when Billie and Christy showed up. She told him to leave the flowers and Coop told Michael she was worth the effort.
