Oh, it doesn't really matter, I'm over it. I fixed some infoboxes that look exactly like the Harry Potter ones (only, if you look at the coding, they're completely different) and then used them on Seer's Pool/Magic School/The Book/my Charmed Wiki. Then TheBook/SonOfHalliwell/PerryPeverell/ThElder brought them onto this wiki. I don't really mind, though.
And if you're talking about details, I'm guessing you mean the Prue page? Yes, I do prefer detail, it makes it a little more interesting.
Thanks! The only problem is writing those godawful "relationships" sections. I think that they're important and everything, but they're just so difficult to write, especially trying to explain why "Victor leaves, Prue hates Victor, he arrives, likes Victor, he leaves, hates Victor again". It's horrible.
Well now you know why I am one of the most inactive editors on this Charmed Wiki. I was nearly becoming insane with all that.
I am mostly on my own wiki. I am writing my own fan fiction about Billie and Christy and so on. Nothing really about the Halliwell. But they are currently appearing in my thrid and also in my fourth coming episode.
I have skim-read one or two of your fanfic episodes. I'm sure they are quite good, only I'm not a fan of Christy Jenkins. Her story is quite sad (in the actual Charmed, obviously not in yours since, if I remember rightly, the evil-Christy was actually a golem or something?)
No, I don't (have my own fanfiction, that is). I like that you chose Christy, though, to try and evolve and develop her and maker he more likable and stuff. I think I started one story once, about Penny, Patty's Aunt Phoebe and the sisters' Aunt Pearl (I made them three sisters), but I got bored. I prefer making my own stuff up.
Well it's kind a here and there. Would you maybe like some help on your wiki? For example the page called Mandi's possessor's power section.
How can the demon Phoenix on your wiki possess Empathy and Levitation,
when Phoebe lost these powers in Season 6, Episode 19 Crimes and Witch-Demeanors. And Pilar, Patra and Phoenix were only power channelling from The Charmed Ones through blood transfusion. They didn't really have those powers.
Personally, I think that Phoenix would have had the powers of empathy and levitation, since the powers were stripped from Phoebe after Phoenix transfused her blood with hers. But there's no solid proof that she did have these powers, so I'll add "(possibly)" next to them.
As for other powers, I'm unsure of what to do. I don't believe in a lot of all these scientific power names or obscure forms of teleportation, so, aside from the named ones (shimmering, flaming, smoking, orbing, wisping) the other forms of teleportation won't be given a name.
Also, I'm unsure of using pyrokinesis, hydrokinesis and such, since they were never referred to by those names, so I thought of having pages liked "fire in magic" or "fire-related powers".
Don't apologized for the holidays, why do you think they are called holydays. I tried to suggest the name "Orb Telekinesis", because both names like "Orb" and "Telekinesis" has been frequently used in the show Charmed? But many wanted to keep the name Telekinetic Orbing.
I am so sorry that you were then forced. But the good thing about my fictional wiki, if I don't like a name. I can't be forced. But I am using the names like Dark Orbing, and Orb Telekinesis. Well I really the name Orb Telekinesis and Dark Orbing, because Darklighters therefore Dark Orbing. But of course canon is canon.
He would only be a widower if Phoebe or Hecate were dead. But Phoebe's alive and Hecate's been banished to the Underworld, so I guess he would be married. Then again, Phoebe got a divorce, so I'm not really sure.
I'm fine thanks. I haven't edited the Charmedverse Wiki for quite a while, I switched to concentrating on Founders' Archives, then I had some technical difficulties after a large amount of alcohol was spilled onto my laptop.
Hi Jack "BtR" Saxon. I can understand. That's why I have never anything water based close to anything high tech stuff, it's like when of my worst fears. Because computers aren't that cheap try to be more careful next time.
Hi Jack "BtR" Saxon. Well I don't think that Alec was ever in love with Daisy, I think it was an unhealthy and compulsive preoccupation Alec had with Daisy, which he thought was love. Like when Cole went crazy due to all those powers he found in The Demonic Wasteland.
There is no such thing as evil love there is only gratification , lust. They are not capable of being in love most likely actual true love would possibly kill them.
That is basically jealousy from evil beings they only use the terms as love and care etc to make their demonic relationship more meaningful because they actually can't handle human feelings and emotions that is why the destined empaths are always on the side of good.
When I added Christy to my fictional series, many thought that Billie just resurrect her sister or Time travel? Alternate reality? However they were surprised that I found a more different and altered aspect.
Well you could do like I am. When I got a good idea for a storyline. I write it down and save it in a folder. I got many different aspects of different stories. It can be helpful to use when ever, and then you only need to make some little alternations.
I haven't, no, I'm concentrating solely on the Charmed Ones for now.
The Source's heir --- Some believe that when the Seer said that the baby had always been hers, she meant this literally in that she had had Cole impregnate Phoebe with her own child. But I've always assumed that she meant it figuratively, that the baby was not biologically the Seer's but that she had always intended to take the baby. I believe that the baby was Phoebe's, not the Seer's.
That's as much thought as I've spared for the Turner-Halliwell child. I don't have an opinion on him otherwise.
Hi Jack "BtR" Saxon. What do you think about Christy? I think that she is both a Firestarter and a Witch, because Firestarters are different as they are rare and coveted and they are mortals like Witches, and some fans think that Billie doesn't have Telekinesis, but she was only able to mimic telekinesis when her Projection was in a weaker state.
I do hope that Prue's fate at the end of The Power of 300 isn't permanent.
As far as I'm concerned, Billie had telekinesis and then developed projection. Billie and Lo Pan both distinguish the two powers in 12 Angry Zen and I can't really see the connection between them.
Christy --- obviously, she is a witch, and I would assume that she is also a Firestarter given what Piper said after she used her power on the sofa. The Book of Shadows does say that Firestarters are "usually mortal", I believe, so her being both a Firestarter and witch do seem credible.
Well here is a GIF for that. But many people are sure that she was just used Pyrokinesis instead of Telepathy. But from my point of view she was charging a lot of psychic energy, and breaks through the shield and vanquishing a demon and blasting a demon away without managing to vanquish him.
But I don't want to get in a in heated discussion about this. So I am leaving people to believe what they want to believe.
On my own uncanon wiki I am passing this off as Telepathic Blast.
Hmm... I don't think she ever actually intended to call the baby "Lucifer", I think she just meant to liken the child to the Devil. The only other name that I myself could think of instead of "The Source's Heir" would be "Turner". But, of course, if the child had lived then he might have been a Halliwell, so...
Well I did mean the tv series, how is Book Elena different from TV Elena? Well after many shows gets cancelled from left and right and leaving a major cliffhanger, and it makes a person feel like he / she has wasted a lot of time.
I have been there on several occurrences, that's why I didn't watch the first season, and rarely second season and better on third season and little more better of the fourth season. So I don't get fooled again.
I have doubts about about the Vampire Diaries spin-off series, as sometimes more or less some some characters does have it hard to stay alive and "standing on their feet" without the help of their parent tv show.
For example I just used to love that tv show called "Friends" and I was so excited for the spin off called "Joey" but without the rest of the "Friends" cast he was just boring. Some are skepitcal due to that it could be just another carbon copy of their parent tv show.
Hi Jack "BtR" Saxon. I was watching Charmed and the episode called "Valhalley of the Dolls, Part 1" should healing be added it the page and the infobox. And everything a Valkyrie pushed or dragged a man inside the cage. A Valkyrie moved her hand and there was a quick glow which "locked" the cage.
(A man wearing leather armor, a metal helmet and wielding a sword and shield walks into the cage. He kicks up a shield and the soldier catches it. The two men fight. The man slashes the soldier across his stomach and he falls to the ground.)
Freyja: He fought well enough. Heal him, get him into training.
(They all stand up. One Valkyrie opens the cage and grabs the soldier.)
It's maybe a kinetic glue. Could this about healing be added to the page as it could be considered plausible as a possible healing abiltiy or the use of herbs and plants to heal.
Could you maybe help me with my infoboxes? You are feel to say no. I was think, if it could be altered to my infoboxes so they still look like the same as they are on my wiki, however that they look like inside like those on this wiki or yours. It would be easier when adding the information.
On which wiki would you be more comfortable editing my infoboxes? Some editors prefer to copy some stuff and edit on their own page or wiki before the guy who asked for the help copied it back. So they wouldn't be a editor on a wiki. My infoboxes are called Character and Species and Artifacts and Powers and Locations. And I have unlocked them.
Hi Jack "BtR" Saxon. Wow it looks great. However. It just doesn't feel right adding them as main infobox for the moment.
I like the new infobox. So I am gonna have it on my sandbox for safe keeping, and try to add my own alternations. I am so sorry if I took your time. You don't have to change anything. So you wouldn't be doing any unnecessary work.
I am a perfectionist, I went through at least four different infoboxes. Until I was nearly comfortable with one version.
However. I don't mind suggestions about my wiki, I consider myself to have more open-minded and liberal view on other's opinions. I wouldn't dismissed right away, but I could maybe consider it. Are you a perfectionist as well?
I was looking at your The Triad page. What about using this picture. As always you are free to say no.
Hi Jack "BtR" Saxon. You are welcome. Of course, you are free to choose it's your wiki. What do you mean about being more blurry? On Pretty as a Picture the pictures are really good. Here is a cool musicvideo, I like it at least. Check it out if you want to.
One important thing don't be nervous, When I had School exams. I was so nervous that I wasn't able to access the knowledge in my brain, when I started to calm my nerves and release the stress, I started slowly to remember what I have studied. Otherwise it's gonna be a heavy burden for you to bear.
There's a reference next to the dates, but I'll post it here anyway. It was quite a while ago.
"In 12 Angry Zen, Billie's Chinese zodiac sign was revealed to be tiger, meaning that, whatever year she was born, she was born in January or February. Also, given that Billie was five years old when Christy was kidnapped fifteen years before Kill Billie, Vol. 1, this must mean that Billie was born between February 9 and October 30, 1986."
I've got it; Kill Billie Vol. 1 was on 2005. Christy was kidnapped fifteen years earlier, in 1990, when Billie was five, so she would've been born in 1984 or 1985. However, she was not yet 21 in 2005, because she wasn't old enough to drink. Being a Tiger, she was born in January or February. Hence, she must have been born January or February 1985.
Hi Jack "BtR" Saxon. How are you doing? I am doing fine I hope you are doing the same. I have noticed something and I am confused, which is it? Is it Sam Wilder or Sam Wylder. I looked on the script and it says.
(Piper finds a certificate.)
Piper: "New York teacher of the year, Sam Wylder." In 1872? in the episode "P3 H2O".
And, as I understand it, "encyclopaedia" is the Latin word that was included into English. I'd suspect "encyclopedia" to be the Americanized version. Being British (and the fact that "encylopaedia" is a purer version of the word, in my opinion) I use the first spelling.
I'm not sure I finished season one, I'd have to start from the beginning when I get time. And I think I'll have a quick look. I remember trying to zoom in on Sam's certificate to see its contents once, but I don't think it was clearly visible...
I know that many people are bashing on Season 8. But I think some of them should be grateful for Season 8. It's a much better season ending then on Season 7. I have heard that some celebrities truly feels honorable by the fans who write fanfiction about a show. I don't really know if it's true.
Yes, I wasn't very satisfied with how the Shadow was used after season two. I myself did do a small amount of Charmed fanfiction, none of which I think I completed, but I didn't really know how to not make it a carbon copy of the TV series.
I was worried as well, but according to some of the ediors. I managed to pull it off on The Woogyman or the shadow. Into making the demon into a more different and unique being apart from the tv series.
It isn't impossible, and she and her family are referred to as the Halliwells. It is far less likely for her surname to be Warren since the last Warren was Prudence Warren - her daughter was a Wentworth.
If memory serves, it was chapter four. And we don't know that Brianna's surname is Warren. Although she was mentioned as being a "Warren witch", she was never given a surname.
Also, Beatrice's relation is unknown. As such, her case cannot be used as evidence. The Warren name died when Prudence married Michael Wentworth, and anyway, Agnes's family were referred to as the Halliwells.
relation shouldn't matter, it's de' facto remember. brianna's surname is assumed to be bowen (like on the family tree) but in the Warren Witches novel, she goes by Brianna Warren. oh, i wanted to make sure i was slandering you, so i've been up reading the novel mirror image. as to the halliwell name, the only time it is mentioned in conjunction with agnes is when timothy (the warlock) is lying to paige about past connections shared by their families. all that is said is that she is the thrice great aunt of the charmed ones.
i know it's the 'halliwell' family now, but that's only because penny took alan's last name.
oh, thanks for that first part (actually sincere btw). Brianna Bowen and Brianna Warren are pretty much the same person. no other brianna appears or is mentioned. given the detail in the warren witches novel (last story) there is no evidence of them being two different people, just wich name she chose to go by at the time. sorry for mispelling allen. the latter version pops up on my subtitles. luciana is only seen on the family tree, is that canon now? clearly the author made a mistake about philippa, as she was born a bowen, and married a baxter.
we can assume the author made her a halliwell because she thought that was the family name. we know that cannot be the case because of penny. even the admin perrypeverel changed it to warren. Brianna Warren is mentioned in the episode where prue fights the lord of war. the warren witches novel enhances her character with background details that make her out to actually be the brianna bowen seen on the family tree. everything is cited on her page.
Just because PerryPeverell was an administrator, that doesn't make his opinion more important.
Also, you are speculating on the two Briannas. They are completely different people. One is their 5x great aunt, the other their 3x great aunt. There were two Prudences in the family as well. Does that make them the same person?
phillipa is named a halliwell in the novel. however, given the fact that she is p. baxter's mother (via redmond baxter) and the fact that thrice aunt places her as the daughter of James Bowen.
it's just not plausbile, and it's far more likely the author made a mistake (whether because she didn't obsess like we do, or because the book was published before the 1970s episode where gran reveals she took allen's name).
I know about the Brianna thing - I was the one that came up with it (User blog:Jack "BtR" Saxon/Brianna), but I admitted that I was wrong when I realized my mistake. Brianna Bowen is their 5x great-aunt.
bri b. is the five times aunt yes. she is confirmed to be the same bri from the charmed episode with lord gabriel. contradictory perhaps, but if penny wrote that entry in the Bos (likely) it could be her 3rd great aunt and everyone is happy.
i'll go with QueenBuffy for now and keep it agnes (and change the other page to reflect nun status) james is canon just as much as the the novels and luciana.
no kidding. brianna bowen is the only one on the family tree, and her place on it fits the time frame of the crimean war. it isn't so unlikely that she was known by a legendary family name instead of real surname.
Maybe she is in the correct timeframe, but Brianna Bowen is their noncanon great-great-great-great-great-aunt. She isn't the same as Brianna and cannot be real because it would make her Prudence's daughter, and she only had ONE.
The show's six generation model. Brianna Bowen couldn't exist because Prudence only had one daughter. Even if she did exist, the two Briannas couldn't be the same because the Crimean War-Brianna was their great-great-great-aunt, not their 5x great. You have no evidence to support your theory.
okay, clearly we differ. that's okay. i can't help it if my (admittedly circumstantial) notes don't work for you. i count the tree as canon. you count the one line from when they summon melinda. no harm, no foul, but the conversation probably won't go anywhere else.
