Max Jones was a mortal who dated Brittany Reynolds.

Andy looks at a picture of Brittany Reynolds and then hands it to his partner. Max explains that Brittany didn't come home at all the night before, which isn't like her at all. He told the detectives when she left for Quake and when she called on her way back. Andy tells Max that the best thing to do is wait at home to see if she calls. He nods and leaves the station.
