Loren "Lori" Rom (born on August 16, 1975, in Red Bank, New Jersey) was the original Phoebe Halliwell. She only portrayed her once in the Unaired Pilot. She left after filming the pilot for personal reasons (It is said she couldn't play because of her religion). Aaron Spelling then contacted Alyssa Milano to ask her if she was interested in playing Phoebe.

Lori Rom is one of two actors replaced after the unaired pilot; Chris Boyd, who portrayed Andy Trudeau, being the second.
