The Killer in Alley was a mortal criminal possessed by a Phantasm. Darryl mentioned he had committed several murders before his possession.
History
After Phoebe Halliwell had a premonition, she, Paige Matthews and Darryl Morris tracked the criminal to an alley. When the criminal fired at them, Darryl shot back and killed him. The sisters then used a potion to extract the Phantasm and a wand to capture it. The sisters then left and left Darryl to report the incident.
Unknown to all, the event was filmed by Inspector Sheridan, exposing magic. This caused the Cleaners to alter reality and frame Darryl for murder, by making it seem like the killer was unarmed and surrendering when Darryl shot him.
