"Every copy is a manifestation of an original, an original that was entrusted to the Keeper of the fairy tales, long ago for protection."
Leo explaining the Keeper's responsibilities.[src]

The Keeper of the Fairy Tales cares for all the Fairy Tales, especially their magical artifacts. The stories they preserve give protection and education to children. The keepers reside in a fortress that holds every prominent artifact from every fairytale, such as Cinderella's glass slippers or Snow White's poison apple. The fortress' location is kept secret, even to the forces of Good, to ensure their safety.

The Old KeeperEdit

This Keeper's age is unknown, but it is presumed that he has been the keeper ever since the first Fairy Tales. He was knew everything about every fairy tale, and was in charge of training a new keeper. He was killed shortly after the Wicked Witch from the Magic Mirror escaped when the mirror fell and broke.

The New KeeperEdit

The new Keeper was the old Keeper's apprentice. He was cursed into the Magic Mirror after the Wicked Witch from the Magic Mirror was freed from the mirror and forced to do her bidding. The witch then asked him who was the most powerful witch, and, unable to lie, he told her the existence of the Charmed Ones, leading her to assassinate them. When Piper Halliwell vanquished the witch, the apprentice was freed and became the new keeper.

The Keepers of the Fairy Tales appeared in a total of 1 episode over the course of the series.
