Kava was a Grimlock and the partner of Janor. Although vanquished by the hand of Prue and Phoebe Halliwell in 1999, he returned on Halloween in 2000, only to be vanquished by Leo and Darryl Morris with a potion.

History

Early History

In 1979, two boys were kidnapped by Kava and Janor. One of the boys, Brent Miller, was able to escape from the sewers. Although his eyesight was stolen by the Grimlocks, he was able to see again when Janor and Kava were vanquished in 1999 by the Charmed Ones.

First encounter with the Charmed Ones

When Kava along with Janor kidnap a young kid named David in 1999, they hoped they can feed on his eyesight, allowing them to see Auras around the good living beings and choke them. The Charmed Ones found out that they have kidnapped him and that they're keeping him in storm drain tower, they created a potion with Shisandra root to blind them, which result is vanquishing.

However, in the night of Halloween on October 31, 2000 , they returned from the death and attacked Charmed Ones at the manor. When storming in the manor, Piper freezes them and the Charmed Ones are pulled in the vortex created by the Elders. However, Darryl shot at them when they unfreezed but they are unharmed. Leo orbed them to the attic to find more information, but the Grimlocks were spying through the keyhole and starts to choke Darryl's aura.

As Darryl and Leo are in the kitchen making the potion to vanquish Janor and Kava, they attack. Janor begins to steal Darryl's eyesight but then is blinded when Darryl reaches over and make a camera bulb flash. Darryl escapes. The portal the sisters were sucked through reopens distracting the demons, Leo then orbs in behind them and attempts to vanquish the two but only successfully vanquishes Kava, causing Janor to strangle Leo with his power. Leo drops the potion, and just as he is suffocating, the girls come through the portal and Prue sends the dropped potion straight onto Janor's face, vanquishing him for a second time.

Powers and Abilities

Active Powers

Aura Choking: The ability to choke a person with their own aura.
Portal Creation: The ability to open portals to other locations.
Sense Projection: The ability to take and use the senses of other beings. Grimlocks use this to steal the eyesight of children so they can see the auras of their victims.
Shimmering: The ability to teleport through the use of 'shimmers'.
Super Strength: The ability to possess more strength than mortals possess.
Sensing: The ability to sense the location of other beings.

Other Powers

High Resistance: The ability to be highly resistant to physical and magical attacks.
