Karen Young

Karen Young (played by Molly Hagan) is a mortal human with no specific magical talents, however, in "The Fifth Halliwheel", Karen receives the power of Acid Generation. This is given to her by a "Demonic Power Broker", however she could not handle this power, it almost ruined her life, and she badly harmed Paige with it before Piper, Paige, Phoebe, Leo and Cole forced the "Power Brokers" to take it out of her.

Karen only appears in one episode, she is a working mother and was the predecessor to Phoebe as the advice columnist for the paper, The Bay Mirror, where Phoebe currently works. The job was passed onto Phoebe as Karen wanted to spend more time at home with her kids.
