Gnomes are magical beings that are small of stature, similar to Leprechauns, Elves, and Dwarfs. They are not known to have natural enemies, but tend to irritate others with their personalities.

A Gnome named Mr. Monkeyshines was the Literature Professor at Magic School until he was murdered after accidentally being sucked into a novel called Crossed, Double-Crossed.[2]

The sorcerer Cronyn mentioned gnomes when meeting with the Charmed Ones, hinting thay they may possess magic that allows them to manipulate flowers.[3] A pair of Gnomes aided the Charmed Ones in their battle against Zankou, though one was soon vanquished while the other escaped.[4] Gnomes were also mentioned by Paige while discussing the Ultimate Power with a group of Leprechauns.[5]

Powers and Abilities[]

Active Powers
  • Sense Stealing: The ability to steal the five senses of other beings and use them for oneself. Mr. Monkeyshines used this ability to remove the mouth of Miss Donovan during their argument.
  • Sparkling: The ability to teleport through sparkling lights. A Gnome used this ability to escape the manor after fighting Zankou.[4]
