Battle of the Hexes (mentioned only)
Gaea (Γαια Γαιη Γη in Greek), also known as the Goddess of Earth, was once a mortal, but was turned into the Goddess of Earth by the Elders. She helped to entomb the Titans, but then forced the world to worship her, just as the others. However, she and the other goddesses made the Golden Belt of Gaea and gave it as a gift to Hippolyta. She was one of the most powerful goddesses.
- In 2003, Piper Halliwell became the next Goddess of Earth.
- While Aphrodite and Athena were mentioned in Oh My Goddess!, Gaea wasn't until Battle of the Hexes.
- In Greek Mythology, Gaea, or Gaia, was not one of the Olympian goddesses. Instead, she was a primordial Goddess born at the beginning of the universe. She was also the mother of the Titans.
