Richard Cody (born August 9, 1968) is an American actor from Portland, Oregon. He acted in several guest roles in the 1990s such as Lois & Clark and Diagnosis Murder. He portrayed David in the season 1 episode Secrets and Guys.
Biography[]
Richard Cody started acting at Portland State University's School of Fine and Performing Arts. Local theater roles lead to film roles and commercial work in Portland, Oregon. Richard moved to Los Angeles when he landed a series regular role in The Unnaturals (with Denis Leary and Paul Feig) on Comedy Central. Other TV credits include Charmed, Diagnosis Murder and Silk Stalkings. Film credits include Overnight Delivery (with Paul Rudd and Reese Whitherspoon), Ivory Tower and Alien Intruder. Richard has trained with Uta Hagen as well as 8 years of studying in the Howard Fine Master Class.
Richard is a sueccessful entrepreneur and has founded 3 of his own lucrative businesses. His venture was hugely successful and took him away from acting for a time. Richard sold this business in 2011 in order to get back to doing what he loves, acting.
Richard is also a licensed pilot and spends most of his free time flying. He resides in Pacific Palisades with his wife and two beautiful children.
