The Magical Lantern was an artifact used by the warlock Rex Buckland in an attempt to gain the powers of the Charmed Ones.
History[]
Seeking to destroy the Charmed Ones, Rex and Hannah Webster framed Prue for theft and murder. When Piper and Phoebe broke her out of her cell, Rex confronted them and blackmailed them into giving up their powers by handing them the lantern.
The sisters cast the To Relinquish Our Powers spell and handed the lantern to Rex at Buckland Auction House. However, Leo Wyatt then restored their powers by healing the Book of Shadows and the sisters defeated Rex and Hannah.[1]
