Magical Amulets

The Magical Amulets are two halves of an ancient protective charm. Each of the amulets is capable of shielding the wearer from all but the most powerful of demons. While the amulets can only be used by good, they can also shield the wearer from good magic, such as scrying. When joined together with a spell, the protection is more than doubled, granting the wearer invincibility.

History[]

The two amulets were divided between two San Francisco covens of witches for safekeeping. The bearers of the amulets were always kept secret, even from the Elders.

In 2001, the demon Raynor sent Cole Turner to obtain the amulets in a ploy to sway him back to evil. Cole confronted Leeza, one of the guardians, and was able to steal the amulet. He allowed Leeza to live, though she was later killed by Raynor to frame Cole.

Cole then went after the other guardian, Janna, though the Charmed Ones intervened and saved her. Under the manipulation of Raynor, Cole later killed Janna, turning the sisters against him. What became of the amulets after this is unknown, though they were presumably destroyed since the amulets cannot protect evil.^[1]

Powers and Abilities[]

Active Powers

Force Field: The ability to generate a protective sphere. The two amulets were powerful enough to repel all types of magic, even good.
- Invincibility: The ability to remain unharmed to all forms of attacks. It was said that when two amulets were brought together, their joint magic would make the wearer invincible.
Sensing: The ability to sense the location of other beings and objects. The amulets presumably had the ability to sense evil and good beings, as they could only protect someone good.
