Spells[]

To Summon Kyra Through Time[]

Summoning-spell-comics

Prue casting her spell.

  • Prue used this spell to summon Kyra from the past. She had a pentagram drawn on the floor and several candles floating around it.
Those who dwell in darkness hear my call,
As the shadows of old begin to fall,
The hands of time will bend to mine,
And break before me, sundered twined,
Come forth, demon! Rise!

Powers[]

  • Particle Swarm: (Flashback) Used by Zankou to attack Kyra.
  • Orbing: used by Paige as means of transportation.
  • Portal Creation: Used by Tyler to move a yoyo through dimensions, teleport to Paris, teleport to the Demonic Wasteland and teleport a demonic creature out of the way.
  • Beaming: Used by Coop to beam to the statue and retrieve Benjamin's soul.

Artifacts[]

  • Ancient Athame: Used by Prue to threaten Kyra (off-screen).
  • Hippogriff Bile: Aged under fifty-six harvest moons. Kyra used it to see beyond the veil of Prue's powers by drawing a pentagram on her forehead.

Notes and Trivia[]

Penny-patty

Penny and Patty as spirits.

  • The title is a reference to the common saying "haste makes waste" and the Demonic Wasteland, which was mentioned to play an important role this season.
  • Paige is the only Charmed One to use her powers.
  • The scene where Prue threatens Kyra was first seen in "Will o' the Witch", while the end of her spell was first seen in "Love is a Burning Thing".
  • Penny and Patty appear for the first time this season.
  • This issue reveals that the soul container Raynor gave Cole in "Exit Strategy" only contained half of Benjamin Turner's soul.
  • It is revealed that tribes of demons live some regions of the Demonic Wasteland, which is somewhat in contrast with its appearance in "Witch Way Now?", as it is mentioned to be a plane where the essence of vanquished demons end up.
