Jessalyn, also known as Jess, is a student of Magic School. Not much is known of her except that she is presumably around the age of sixteen or seventeen, does not like lectures, and would rather practice magic than learn about it.
History[]
Jessalyn transforms into a monstrous creature
In 2008, Paige was teaching her class about magic and brought with her the Halliwells' Book of Shadows, and told about its history and powers. Jessalyn was rather bored and said that instead of lectures given by "middle aged, retired witches" she wanted to practice magic. Paige was offended and quickly responded that they, she and her sisters, were not middle aged and that they are not retired but just on a break.
Trying to teach Jessalyn a lesson, Paige handed over the Book and allowed her to read a spell. Jessalyn choose to cast the spell To Change One's Appearance. The spell, however, went awry and turned Jessalyn into a seven story tall, monstrous demon with horns. Leo and Paige were both surprised and although Paige knew it would backfire, it wasn't exactly what Paige thought would happen.
Afterward, Jess was turned back to herself by Leo and Paige.

- Scrying: The ability to locate a person or object with the use of a scrying crystal and a map.
- Mediumship: The ability to see and commune with spirits of the dead.
