"You have a nice rack, you ought to show it off a little bit more."
—Spencer Ricks to Phoebe Halliwell.[src]

Spencer Ricks was a male advice columnist at The Daily, who according to Phoebe Halliwell, was a "misogynistic pig".

History[]

In 2003, Ask Phoebe was losing readership to the advice column written by Spencer Rick, since he "drummed up publicity by being controversial". Elise Rothman suggested to Phoebe that she should do a photo-shoot by 415 Magazine to defeat the competition. However, during the photo-shoot, Phoebe became influenced by a spell cast by a Witch Doctor, and desired to kill Spencer. Phoebe met Spencer at his newspaper and turned him into a Turkey using a potion. She was about to kill him when the Witch Doctor's spell was reversed. She then turned him back to normal again.[1]

A year later, Elise hired Spencer Ricks away from the competition to work for Phoebe. Elise wanted them to pick a letter each and give advice on it. Annoyed at Spencer's chauvinistic remarks at work, Phoebe turned him into a turkey once again, but then had second thoughts about it and changed him back. She later turned him into a pig to get past him on her way home. He was later changed back and wrote a column with her.[2]
