Phoebe: "Thank you for restoring my faith in the male species."
Billy: "Now all you have to do is hold off for one that's three-dimensional."

Billy Appleby[1] is a protagonist of Phoebe's favorite movie "Kill It Before It Dies" and also her first love.

History[]

The Demon of Illusion invaded Billy's film-world frequently as the movie traveled from city to city to cause violence. In early 2000, the demon accidentally brought Billy to the real world.

Meeting Phoebe Halliwell[]

Billy developed an attraction to Phoebe at first sight, and helped open up her heart. She continues, presumably to this day, to watch the video of 'Kill It Before It Dies' that Prue bought her. During his brief stint in reality, Phoebe used make up to color Billy, as he had come into the real world in black and white. He admitted that he was excited to do something outside of what he had always done according to the script.

Billy helped the sisters fend off the Slasher and Bloody Mary, who were also brought out of their separate movies to kill them, and later returned to his own world to face the demon. He and Phoebe said goodbye before Billy returned to be with his on-screen girlfriend, Sally Mae, back in the film-world.

Cole Turning Up in the Movie[]

Billy was seen again the next year when Phoebe watched the movie. At the end of the movie, Cole Turner appeared in it to tell her that he was back for good.

Personality[]

Billy was very sensitive to bad language and chivalrous towards women, becoming especially angry whenever one of the sisters was disrespected (most notably by the Demon of Illusion). He never minded the fact that he was a movie character, but also enjoyed the freedom of getting to create his own actions rather than always doing what was previously scripted for him.

Powers and Abilities[]

  • Invulnerability: Billy was immune to all kinds of harm in the real world and could not be killed, as he was not created in such a way.
