William "Billy" Jayne portrayed the character of Billy Waters in the season 1 episode "The Wendigo."

Biography[]

Billy Jayne was born in Flushing, New York, USA on April 10, 1969. At the age of three years old, he was visiting his older brother Scott Jacoby on the set of That Certain Summer, for which Scott later won an Emmy for Best Supporting Actor. The director needed someone to play Scott in flashbacks, and Billy was selected and his career began.

At the age of seventeen Billy changed his professional name to coincide with his birth name from Jacoby to Jayne. He has also done years of extensive voicework for cartoons and films.

Billy did most of the sound effect of the vampires in the movie Buffy The Vampire Slayer starring Kristy Swanson. His best known roles in films include the 1982 cult film The Beastmaster and Cujo.

He starred in numerous television series, including Silver Spoons and Parker Lewis Can't Lose. In 2000, Billy moved into directing big budget commercials for the likes of Dr Pepper, AT&T, and Snickers. He has made guest appearances on many television shows, including Highway To Heaven, Galactica 1980, on a 1986 4th season episode of The A-Team titled "The Trouble with Harry", The Golden Girls, 21 Jump Street, Walker, Texas Ranger, and Charmed.

Billy has worked with the likes of Steven Spielberg, Diane Keaton, Richard Dreyfuss, Sally Field, Johnny Depp, Betty White, Beatrice Arthur, Martin Sheen and of course Aaron Spelling.
