The Cursed Athame is a weapon with a curse on it. Whoever gets cut by the blade will age rapidly. For immortal beings, they will be merely old, but for witches alike, they will die of old age. To reverse the magic, the only way is to drink from the enchanted Fountain of Youth.
History[]
A witch cursed this blade and used it on Captain Black Jack Cutting, who in turn used it to cut out her heart.
Centuries later, he used the blade on Brenda Castillo to draw the Charmed Ones' attention and later on Paige Matthews to leverage Piper and Phoebe to help him regain his youth. While Brenda died of old age, Piper and Phoebe were able to reverse the curse on both the captain and their sister using water from the Fountain of Youth.[1]

- Age Shifting: The ability to manipulate age. The athame could make anyone it stabbed/cut age rapidly.
