Coven

A coven is a gathering of witches, usually to cast spells and talk about what has been going on lately with their powers, and the certain evils needed to be vanquished. The Charmed Ones is considered a witch coven, and is more specifically powerful because of sisterhood and of the Power of Three. Many witch covens exist with magical and non-magical witches, but the main purpose is to get together and cast spells.

A Tribe is an equivalent to a coven a witches but its members are gypsies, who are similiar to witches, except the fact they are usually of Romani descent, and are gifted in the power of divinitation. Their powers are thought to be different than that of witches because when the Charmed Ones met the Nicoli gypsies, they didn't have similiar or known witch powers. Such powers of a gypsy that were shown were Optical Thermodynamics, possessed by Lydia Nicoli.
