Andy Trudeau

Inspector Andrew "Andy" Trudeau was a police inspector for the San Francisco Police Department until he died in early 1999. ("Déjà Vu All Over Again") His police partner was Darryl Morris. He was killed when an energy ball was thrown at him by a demon posing as an Inspector, known as Rodriguez.

He is a third generation inspector, which he jokes "is called detective in any other city." For a brief time he lived in Portland, before moving back to San Francisco. ("Something Wicca This Way Comes")

Andy has been in love with Prue since high school as said in a few episodes. They dated and were involved in several demon fights together. But most recently he has been married to a woman named Susan, and then divorced before moving back to San Francisco. They have a continuous on and off relationship, and at one time it was sexual, but Prue's revelation as a witch made it so she didn't have the time to be with him, nor any other men. But eventually Prue learned to accept her new life as a witch, and to balance her personal life but not before Andy died. This greatly saddened her but Andy died protecting her and her sisters and it made him happy to do so.
