Alex Mendoza portrayed Jack Manford in the season 1 episode "Dream Sorcerer."

Biography[]

A graduate of Santa Clara University, where he received his BA in Theatre Arts, Zeus Mendoza has quickly made an impression on Television and Film audiences across America. Starring most recently as Santos in the feature film "The Fallen Faithful", and in DreamWorks' "Puss in Boots" hitting theaters in 2011. He also lends his voice to various characters in the hit film "Beverly Hills Chihuahua." Television Series Regular credits include Detective Tony Santiago in the NBC remake series "Hunter",TNT's "Crusade" starring as Trace Miller, Aaron Spelling's "Forbidden Island", filmed on location in New Zealand, "Port Charles", and "Days of Our Lives." Among his other credits are the CBS movie of the week "Murder in the Mirror", playing opposite Jane Seymour and James Farentino, and numerous guest starring roles in Television favorites "Crash", "CSI: Miami", and many others.

Mr.Mendoza is also no stranger to professional Theatre. He has gained recognition on stage and was nominated for a Garland's Critics Choice Award for his portrayal as Slim in the Pasadena Playhouse production of "Of Mice and Men." He has played leading man to Sanaa Lathan (Love and Basketball) and Amy Brennaman(Judging Amy) in the Los Angeles productions of "Our Town" and "Walking Off the Roof", and gave a memorable turn as Elvis in Steve Martin's hit play "Picasso at the Lapin Agile" at theatre On the Square in San Francisco. Other theatre credits include "Paint Your Wagon", playing the romantic lead Julio Valveras, and "By the Waters of Babylon" playing Arturo—both at The Geffen Playhouse.

Alex is currently set to begin filming the Pilot "Rollers" on location in Arizona in late February 2008. The story centers around four friends who get involved with drug trafficking and distribution with Mexican cartels. Alex will play Mexican drug lord Mario Martinez. In early February 2008 Alex will begin filming the Feature "The Fallen Faithful", produced by Firefly Films. Alex also has signed on to begin work on the independent film "Flights of Fancy", which is slated to begin principle photography in March.

Recently, Alex wrapped production on the Disney film "South of the Border", starring Drew Berrymore, George Lopez, and Salma Hayek. The film is a live-action Disney film centered on a chihuahua dog (Drew Barrymore) who gets lost in Mexico and has to beat the odds to try and make her way back to her home in Beverly Hills.
